OSAGE ORANGE: Bright yellow-gold when fresh, deepening to a warm amber over time. Exceptionally dense — one of the hardest domestic North American species.

Osage orange salt and pepper shakers are made on a maple base.   Finished with a clear, water-resistant coat that preserves and enhances the wood's natural color. Sold in pairs.
