PURPLEHEART: Deep violet-purple when freshly finished, darkening to a rich reddish-purple over time with light exposure. One of the few woods that achieves this color naturally, without dye or stain.

Purpleheart salt and pepper shakers with a maple inlay on a maple base.  Finished with a clear, water-resistant coat that preserves and enhances the wood's natural color. Handcrafted in Madison, Wisconsin.
