This wine cabinet is a piece of fine furniture first and a storage piece second. The design draws on two sources: the geometry of stained-glass windows and the curve of a wine bottle. The result is a cabinet that earns its place in a dining room rather than hiding in a utility corner.

The lower section holds 10 bottles on the wine racks, with additional shelf space above for oversized bottles. Sixteen glasses hang from the upper racks. A hand-cut dovetailed drawer keeps the smaller items in order. The solid hardwood construction — mortise and tenon joinery throughout the case — means this piece will hold together for a long time.

Available in cherry or maple. The cabinet can also be configured with shelves in place of the wine racks, making it equally suited to storing dishes or linens. Contact me to discuss. I will usually respond within a day and there is never any obligation.
